Rehabilitation

The Physiatry Service of the Department of the Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation provides comprehensive care for adult patients requiring non-surgical musculoskeletal care.  Non-surgical care is often an extension of prior surgical care or complementary to the ongoing care of a surgical specialist.  The Physiatry Division in the Department of the Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation concentrate their expertise in patients with spinal, sports medicine, hand, foot and ankle, and joint reconstruction patients.  Physiatry services include:  joint injection, ultrasound therapies, ultrasound-guided, neuro diagnostic procedures, as well as rehabilitation of patients with complex post-surgical and post-neurologic injury challenges.  The Rehabilitation Division of Orthopaedics focuses on patient centered care.
