The Service is a national resource for the treatment of ankle arthritis and is partially supported by funding from the National Institutes of Health and participates in the NIH's Specialized Center of Research (SCOR) in Osetoarthritis.
Ankle Arthritis Service
The Ankle Arthritis Service is dedicated to improving the care of patients with disabling ankle arthritis. Established in 1999 by the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, the Service offers state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for ankle arthritis.
